 The festival I like most Vesak  .It is a religious festival. It is celebrated by Buddhists all around the world. Vesak falls in the month of May. Buddhists celebrate it to mark birth, the Enlightenment and the passing away of Lord Buddha. Vesak is a colourful festival. We have two holidays to celebrate Vesak.  Devotees go to temples and engage in religious observances. Some observe sill. Devotees offer flowers and light lamps and joss sticks to play homage to Lord Buddha. People listen to sermons. I like the festival because it is a colourful festival. All the temples are beautiful. We can see Vesak lanterns and pandals all over the country. I can go with my parents and other family members for sightseeing. I can eat and drink at free refreshment stalls. Vesak is a peaceful time. I can spend the time quietly , peacefully and happily during this festival.
