 My Favorite Writer 

 

 

 My favorite writer Mr. Martin  Wickramasinghe. He is one of the greatest writers of Sri Lanka. He wrote many books. Madol Doowa written by him is the most popular book among children in the country. Gamperaliya, Viragaya, Yuganthaya are very popular books written by him. He brought in a new era to Sinhala literature. He was not a well educated person. He learnt only up to grade five. But he red a lot and became a very clever writer. Many of his books became popular Sinhala  film. Even today he is  considered  the best writer in Sri Lanka.
